| Personal Statement Because my major is in International Business at the Business College of Beijing Union University; my major in Business Analysis and I am majoring in Finance Service at the University of West of Scotland, I have gained a strong background in the field of business and finance which is my primary field of interest. While studying at the Business College of Beijing Union University and the University of Paisley, the modules I studied included Management, Human Resource Management, Computing, Social Sciences, Survey, Managing Projection, linear, Simulation Modeling, Media Law and so on. These courses will provide me with a good basic knowledge for studying Knowledge Management.
When I began my undergraduate course, I had the opportunity to study a number of subjects in the humanities and they have been both enjoyable and enlightening, providing me a new and different perspective on the world in which we live. At the same time, I maintained a healthy balance between academic studies, athletics, and social activities. Through working as volunteer, I learned the importance of teamwork and leadership in achieving a common goal. I hope to bring this team effort to my further education. While studying at the University of Paisley, I studied alongside students different parts of the world. Eager to meet and exchange ideas with those I met, I actively learned a variety of histories, cultures, and languages. These experiences felt like an extension of the house in which I grew up and have allowed me to cultivate a curious and questioning mind and enabled me to develop the ability to approach problems with a wide perspective. It is good for me to go on studying here for my Master degree because I have already experienced how to study here and my level of English has improved. My primary goal in applying for my graduate program and postgraduate program are to prepare myself for a career in the field of business and finance. I believe my graduate and postgraduate program in business will provide me with an excellent foundation in the area of knowledge Management and Finance. With a Masters, I will be well prepared to lead a very promising career. While I have no doubt the program will push me to my limits, I am confident that I can face the rigorous challenges posed by study and thrive under the demanding environment that advanced studies entail. From my transcripts, you will see that not only am I a well-balanced student, I actually thrive in rigorous, upper level courses, courses akin to postgraduate-level courses. Armed with the confidence that I can excel at difficult courses, I believe I can achieve the highest level of success and satisfaction by taking the most demanding postgraduate program available. This project will undoubtedly further advance my academic skills and reinforce my passion for research. I am fully confident that, with the ability to pursue my education at the West of Scotland, I will not only be able to fulfill my dream, but to contribute substantially to the university as well.
